What is a cannabis association?
A cannabis association is a private organisation made up of adults who already use cannabis. Its aim is to provide members with a safe and discreet place for shared use, away from the streets and illegal networks. It is not open to the public: only existing members are allowed entry.
These clubs operate within the framework of what is known as private-sector shared consumption. For this reason, there is no advertising of products, nothing is sold to the public, and cannabis may not be taken off the premises for resale.
Who can become a member?
- People aged 18 or over who are already users.
- Usually upon invitation or with the endorsement of another member.
- By presenting a valid identity document (DNI, NIE or passport).

What a day at the club is like
A good cannabis club is more like a social club than a bar. In Green Palace We’re looking for a peaceful, well-maintained atmosphere: comfortable seating areas, good ventilation, music at a moderate volume, and staff who are familiar with the strains available at the club and can advise you on them.
Many clubs also organise activities for their members, such as tastings, talks or themed events. These are a great way to meet other people in the community and learn about cannabis in a responsible way.
Basic rules within the club
- Respect for other members and staff.
- Responsible consumption, without putting pressure on anyone.
- No photos or videos of other members without their permission.
- Cannabis is consumed inside the club; it must not be taken out to be sold or shared outside.
- When you go out, be considerate of your neighbours: it’s an important part of living in the neighbourhood.
